Description
  • Binchotan (Japanese Oak) activated charcoal is the highest grade of charcoal. These charcoals are from the Kishu region of Japan.
  • A centuries-old natural purification method that reduces water hardness, absorbs odor, and filters for great-tasting water. Filtering time is approximately 6-7 hours.
  • 2 binchotan charcoal sticks are included in one package. Use 1 stick for 1-2 gallons of water; each stick is approximately 1.2" to 1.38" in diameter and 4" in length.
  • Reactivate charcoal every two weeks by boiling for 10 minutes and letting dry.
  • Do not use with water that is microbiologically unsafe or of unknown quality.
